Summary:
Provide school-based occupational therapy services in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), school policies, and professional standards to support students’ functional independence, sensory processing, motor skills, and participation in educational activities.

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
• Current, active Texas Occupational Therapist license in good standing with the Texas Board of Occupational Therapist Examiners (TBOTE)
• School-based OT experience preferred
• Experience with deaf and hard-of-hearing students preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct OT evaluations and reassessments, including for deaf and hard-of-hearing students
• Deliver direct, evidence-based OT interventions aligned with IEP goals (sensory integration, motor skills, functional independence, ADLs relevant to school)
• Collaborate in ARD/IEP meetings and with multidisciplinary teams (teachers, SLPs, audiologists, parents)
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation, progress notes, evaluation reports, and billing records
• Develop and prepare therapy materials and manage therapy gym scheduling and equipment
• Perform other related duties as assigned
