Requirements:

• Valid Occupational Therapy state license or proof of eligibility
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation

Primary responsibilities:

• Screen, examine, and evaluate patients to establish diagnoses, create treatment plans, set goals, and perform routine reexaminations to adjust plans as needed.
• Design and implement therapeutic programs, adaptive devices, and activities tailored to patients’ abilities and interests; instruct and train patients in functional skills and device use; monitor and document progress.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel as required.
• Collaborate and consult with the rehabilitation team; refer patients to other disciplines or external agencies when appropriate; participate in patient care conferences and work-related meetings.
• Maintain clinical and billing documentation and adhere to treatment schedules.
• Ensure patient and facility safety by identifying and eliminating hazards; order, maintain, clean, and report repair needs for supplies and equipment.
• Prioritize patient-centered service to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
