Contract Occupational Therapist (OT) — Rutland, VT (13-week Travel Assignment)

We’re looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a team in Rutland, VT on a 13-week contract starting ASAP. This role follows an 08:00 AM–04:30 PM schedule and is available as either travel or local. Pay is: Travel $2,052/36-hours; Local $2,023/36-hours.

What we need from you

• Valid, active Occupational Therapy state license.
• Current CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (with AED).

What you’ll be doing

• Assess patients’ physical and cognitive abilities and their environments to uncover limitations and set meaningful goals.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the healthcare team.
• Use a variety of therapeutic techniques to help patients regain daily living skills and independence.
• Recommend and teach use of adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
• Train patients in activities of daily living (ADLs) to build practical skills.
• Educate patients and families on self-management strategies and ways to maintain independence.
• Monitor and document patient progress regularly, adjusting plans as needed.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including evaluations and progress notes.
• Support patients’ transitions back into the community and the workplace.
• Stay current with occupational therapy best practices and pursue professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
