Overview:
Join a perioperative team in Phoenix to provide high-quality operating room nursing care. This contract role involves preparing patients and ORs, supporting surgical teams intraoperatively, and maintaining accurate documentation and compliance.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room, instruments, supplies, and patients for procedures.
• Monitor patient status throughout the perioperative process and administer medications as indicated.
• Function as circulating nurse and/or scrub, assisting surgeons and the multidisciplinary team during cases.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and adhere to facility protocols and regulatory standards.
• Provide patient/family education on preoperative and postoperative expectations.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in practicing state.
• Perioperative/OR experience preferred.
• BLS required; CNOR certification preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and effective communication.
