Travel RN — Operating Room (OR) | State College, PA — Contract/36-hr (ASAP Start)

We’re looking for a registered nurse to join a hospital team in State College, PA, on a contract/travel basis. This is an ASAP start, Monday–Friday schedule, working 36 hours weekly with a pay rate of $2,052 per 36-hour week.

What you’ll bring

• Active RN license in the state where you’ll be practicing.
• Perioperative or operating room experience is preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, organizational ability, and clear communication skills.
• BLS is required; CNOR or other specialty certifications are a plus.

What you’ll do

• Get patients, instruments, and the OR ready for surgery and help maintain a safe, sterile environment.
• Serve as a circulating nurse or scrub tech during procedures, actively supporting the surgical team.
• Monitor patient condition, administer medications as needed, and uphold sterile technique throughout cases.
• Accurately document surgical care and ensure all actions meet facility protocols.
• Provide pre- and post-operative education to patients and their families to support safe recovery.
