Schedule
- Clinic: 3 days per week, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (Mon–Fri)
- OR: 2 days per week
- Call: 7 on / 7 off, beeper call, 30-minute response time, 1:1 ratio
- Expected patient volume: 20–25 clinic patients/day; ~3 call patients/day
- Admissions: ~3
Facility and support
- Trauma level III
- Department beds: 3
- Support staff: 2 APPs, 2 RNs, 2 MAs, 2 office staff
- EMR: Medhost
- Hospital privileges required; temporary privileges available
- Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided
Requirements
- Active New Mexico medical license
- Board certified or board eligible (BC/BE) in Orthopedic Surgery
- Current ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
Responsibility: Provide general orthopedic inpatient and outpatient care, operative coverage in the OR, and required call coverage per schedule. Minimal callbacks expected.
