Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of Operating Room or perioperative nursing experience preferred
- BLS required; ACLS preferred
- Knowledge of aseptic technique, surgical instrumentation, and OR protocols
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide perioperative nursing care in an outpatient surgical setting
- Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and supplies for scheduled procedures
- Function as circulating and/or scrub nurse according to competency
- Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety throughout procedures
- Coordinate care with surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative team members
- Document perioperative care accurately and comply with regulatory standards
