Travel RN – Outpatient Operating Room (Perioperative) – Chico, CA

Join a contract/travel team in Chico, CA, providing perioperative nursing care in an outpatient operating room. This day-shift position starts ASAP and offers $2,960 per 40-hour week.

Requirements:

• Active RN license.
• Minimum 1 year OR or perioperative nursing experience preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Proficient in aseptic technique, surgical instrumentation, and OR protocols.
• Strong organizational skills and comfort working in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care in an outpatient surgical environment.
• Prepare ORs, instruments, equipment, and supplies for scheduled procedures.
• Perform circulating and/or scrub nurse duties according to competency.
• Maintain sterile technique and uphold patient safety throughout procedures.
• Coordinate care with surgeons, anesthesia, and the perioperative team.
• Accurately document perioperative care and comply with regulatory standards.
