Travel Psychiatric RN — Contract Position in Kapaʻa, HI (ASAP Start)

Join a contract travel team in Kapaa, HI, providing psychiatric nursing care on a 40-hour schedule. Assignment begins ASAP. Compensation: $2,424/40 hours.

What you’ll do

• Conduct comprehensive mental-health assessments and continuously monitor patient status.
• Safely administer psychotropic and other medications and implement therapeutic interventions.
• Facilitate and support individual and group therapeutic activities; provide patient and family education.
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and clinical changes; escalate concerns to the care team.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and nursing staff to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Psychiatric or mental-health nursing experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, crisis intervention, and interpersonal communication skills.
• BLS required; psychiatric/behavioral health certifications strongly preferred.
