Travel RN – Step-Down (Night Shift) — Lawton, OK

We’re looking for an experienced RN to join a Step-Down/PCU team in Lawton, OK for a contract/travel assignment starting ASAP. This is a night position (6p–6a) with a 36-hour pay period rate of $2,052.

What you’ll be doing

• Provide direct nursing care to Step-Down/PCU patients, including close monitoring of status and cardiac rhythms.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document all care clearly and accurately.
• Work with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and escalate concerns when patients show changes or require urgent intervention.
• Use strong critical thinking and cardiac monitoring skills to respond to emergencies and rapidly changing situations.

What we’re looking for

• Active RN license (state or compact).
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN required; BSN preferred).
• 1–2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred (ICU, Step-Down, or Telemetry).
• Current BLS required; ACLS required or must be obtained within the timeframe specified by the facility.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize patient safety.
