Minimum qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in School Psychology from an accredited institution
• Current Texas licensure as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Educational Diagnostician
• Experience with deaf and hard-of-hearing students preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological, academic, and behavioral assessments for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Select, administer, and interpret appropriate assessment instruments
• Prepare Full and Individual Evaluations (FIEs) and Review of Existing Evaluation Data (REED)
• Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Recommend instructional placements, accommodations, and related services
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation for compliance and billing
• Perform other duties as assigned
