Contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) — Home Health, Days — Pittsfield, MA

Join a home health team in Pittsfield, MA on a contract/travel assignment starting ASAP. This daytime role offers an 8-hour schedule (8:00 AM–4:30 PM) with weekend rotation every 4–6 weeks and holiday coverage as needed. Compensation is $2,804 per 40-hour week.

Key responsibilities and setting:

• Provide independent speech-language pathology services in the home health setting
• Work with patients across the continuum, applying rehabilitation strategies and using communication aids, devices, and mobility equipment as appropriate
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members and document per agency standards

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years home health SLP experience
• Massachusetts Speech and Language Pathologist license
• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellow candidates will be considered
• Active American Heart Association BLS (AHA)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle (traveler requirement)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred:

• Acute care experience
• Familiarity with language/communication aids, devices, and wheelchairs
