Rate: Travel: $2,317/35 hours; Local: $2,282/35 hours

Requirements:

  • Valid, active Speech-Language Pathologist state license

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders using clinical evaluation and diagnostic tests
  • Diagnose type and severity of communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals
  • Provide therapy to address articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, and swallowing function
  • Assess and recommend augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) as needed
  • Educate patients and families on strategies, exercises, and safe swallowing practices
  • Monitor, document, and adjust treatment based on patient progress; maintain accurate, up-to-date records (assessments, plans, progress notes)
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other team members for coordinated care
  • Support patients in applying communication skills in daily, school, or work settings
  • Maintain professional competence through ongoing development
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
