Contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) — Pittsfield, MA (15-week Travel/Local)

Join a team in Pittsfield, MA as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for a 15‑week assignment starting ASAP. You’ll work weekdays and weekends on an 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule (Sun–Sat) and can choose travel pay of $2,648/40 hrs or local pay of $2,608/40 hrs.

What we need from you

• A valid, active state license to practice as a Speech‑Language Pathologist.

What you’ll do

• Evaluate patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing difficulties using clinical exams and diagnostic tools.
• Determine diagnoses and severity, then develop individualized treatment plans tied to clear, measurable goals.
• Provide therapy addressing articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language skills.
• Assess and treat dysphagia and teach safe swallowing techniques.
• Recommend and support use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) when appropriate.
• Educate patients and families on strategies, home programs, and carryover activities to support progress.
• Monitor and document patient response to therapy, updating plans as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other team members to coordinate care.
• Keep accurate, timely records including assessments, plans, and progress notes.
• Help patients generalize improved communication skills to daily life, school, or work.
• Stay current through ongoing professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
