Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (13-week) — Windsor, VA | $1,922/35-hr, Mon–Fri 8–4:30

Join a team in Windsor, VA for a 13-week contract (ASAP start) where you’ll make a real difference helping patients improve communication and swallowing. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Compensation: Travel rate $1,922/35 hrs; Local rate $1,894/35 hrs.

What we’re looking for

• Active, valid Speech-Language Pathologist state license.

What you’ll be doing

• Conduct thorough assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Use clinical evaluations and diagnostic testing to determine diagnoses and severity.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s goals and needs.
• Deliver targeted therapy to address articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language.
• Evaluate and treat dysphagia, teaching safe swallowing strategies.
• Recommend and provide training on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) when appropriate.
• Educate patients and families on home strategies and exercises to support progress.
• Monitor and document patient progress regularly, adjusting plans as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other team members for coordinated care.
• Keep accurate, up-to-date records including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Help patients generalize improved communication skills to everyday settings like home, school, and work.
• Stay current with best practices through ongoing professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
