Requirements:

• Valid, active state license for Speech-Language Pathologist

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders using clinical evaluations and diagnostic tests.
• Diagnose type and severity of communication and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with clear goals based on assessment findings.
• Provide evidence-based therapy targeting articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language.
• Evaluate and treat dysphagia; implement and teach safe swallowing strategies.
• Recommend and support use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) when appropriate.
• Educate patients and families on strategies, exercises, and carryover techniques.
• Monitor, document, and update patient progress; modify treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other team members to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Facilitate generalization of communication skills to daily life, school, or work settings.
• Participate in professional development to remain current in speech-language pathology.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
