Required: Valid, active state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist

Key responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Diagnose disorder type and severity using clinical evaluation and diagnostic testing.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Provide direct therapy targeting articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language.
• Evaluate and treat dysphagia; implement and teach safe swallowing strategies.
• Assess need for and recommend augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) solutions.
• Educate patients and families on therapy strategies, home exercises, and carryover techniques.
• Monitor and document patient progress; modify treatment plans as indicated.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation (assessments, plans, progress notes).
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other team members to coordinate care.
• Support patients in generalizing communication skills to daily, school, or work settings.
• Participate in professional development to maintain current clinical practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
