Requirements:

• Valid, active Speech-Language Pathologist state license

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Diagnose type and severity using clinical evaluation and diagnostic testing.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Provide evidence-based therapy for articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, and cognition-communication.
• Evaluate and treat dysphagia; implement and train on safe swallowing strategies.
• Recommend, train, and support use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) as indicated.
• Educate patients and families on strategies, carryover activities, and home programs.
• Monitor, document, and report patient progress; modify plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records (assessments, plans, progress notes).
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other care team members for coordinated care.
• Support patient generalization of communication skills across settings (home, school, work).
• Participate in relevant professional development and comply with facility policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
