Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (13-Week Contract) — Pittsfield, MA; Competitive Pay

Join a healthcare team in Pittsfield, MA for a 13-week contract/travel opportunity starting ASAP. This full-time role follows a consistent schedule (Sun–Sat, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM) and offers competitive pay: Travel $2,383/36 hrs; Local $2,347/36 hrs.

Requirements:

• Valid, active Speech-Language Pathologist state license.

Core responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders using clinical evaluation and diagnostic testing.
• Diagnose communication and swallowing conditions, determine severity, and develop individualized treatment plans with clear, measurable goals.
• Provide direct therapy to address articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, and dysphagia, including safe-swallowing interventions.
• Recommend, implement, and train patients/families on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) options when appropriate.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies and home programs to support communication and swallowing gains.
• Monitor and document patient progress, revise treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate clinical records (assessments, plans, progress notes).
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other team members to support coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Promote carryover of communication skills in daily life, school, and work settings.
• Engage in professional development to stay current in evidence-based SLP practice.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
