Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) — Full-Time | Great Barrington, MA

Join a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team in Great Barrington, MA, as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist. This position starts ASAP with a typical schedule of 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

Requirements:

• Valid state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist, or proof of eligibility.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or eligibility to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellowship.
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive assessment and treatment across speech, language, cognition, swallowing, and related areas; document services and progress accurately.
• Supervise Clinical Fellowship Year clinicians, temporary licensees, students, and support staff in accordance with state licensure and professional standards.
• Develop, adapt, and implement individualized treatment plans; perform routine re-evaluations and adjust care as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to determine appropriate therapeutic regimens and coordinate home and community care.
• Conduct patient and family education, instruct in therapeutic techniques and use of adaptive communication devices, and identify hearing concerns for referral.
• Participate in patient care conferences, department meetings, and required documentation, including clinical and billing records.
• Maintain a safe therapeutic environment, manage equipment and supplies, report maintenance needs, and observe fire and safety protocols.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care that honors individual needs and rights.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
