Coverage Dates: May 1 – Jul 31, 2026
Shift: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM (10-hour shifts)
Patient Population: Adults and Adolescents
EMR: Epic
Compensation/Logistics: Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided
Patient Volume (per 24-hour shift)
- Non-ICU census: 10–14
- ICU census: 6
- Admissions/ED: 2–15
Responsibilities
- Respond to ED for trauma alerts
- Admit and manage ER patients
- Perform daily rounding and ongoing management of surgical/trauma patients
- Facilitate discharges
- Work autonomously with trauma surgeon specialty backup
Requirements
- Active Minnesota license
- Board Certified: ACNP, ACGP, or PA-C
- Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS
- DEA registration
- NPDB report required
- Local candidate preferred
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
