Locum Tenens Rheumatologist — Jackson, MI (Inpatient/Outpatient; Feb 2026–Ongoing)

We’re seeking a Rheumatology locum tenens to join a team in Jackson, Michigan, covering both inpatient and outpatient care. This role is supplemental coverage beginning Feb 1, 2026 and continuing on an ongoing basis. You’ll work a flexible shift schedule (either four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts) and take 24-hour call two weeks out of each month (call ratio 1:2).

What you’ll see and do:

• Outpatient clinic volume: about 16–18 patients per day
• Inpatient consults: roughly 1 per day
• Perform joint aspirations and corticosteroid injections as part of routine care
• Collaborate with one other physician and a support team that includes an MA, RN, and front desk staff
• Chart in Epic

Logistics and support:

• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are provided
• Facility is Trauma Level II

Requirements:

• Active Michigan medical license
• Board certified in Rheumatology
• Fellowship-trained
• BLS certification
• NPDB report
