Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific or compact, as applicable)
- Minimum of 1 year recent Acute Care or Med Surg nursing experience preferred
- BLS
- ACLS preferred
Responsibilities:
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
- Provide nursing care for adult acute care medical and post-surgical patients
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as ordered
- Monitor vital signs, pain levels, lab results, and patient status
- Identify changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, and discharge plans
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
