Join a dynamic acute care team in Glenwood Springs, CO, as a night-shift Registered Nurse on a contract/travel assignment starting ASAP. This role supports adult medical-surgical and post-surgical patients, offering a competitive rate of $2,182 per 36-hour period.

Required credentials and experience:

• Active RN license (state-specific or compact, as applicable)
• Minimum of 1 year recent acute care or med-surg experience preferred
• BLS required; ACLS preferred

Core responsibilities:

• Assess, monitor, and document patient status and responses to treatment
• Provide comprehensive nursing care for adult acute medical and post-surgical patients
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and ordered treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor vital signs, pain, labs, and other clinical indicators; recognize and respond to changes
• Initiate appropriate interventions and escalate concerns to the care team
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, and discharge plans
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and comply with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
