**Assignment Details**
- Start date: ASAP
- Ongoing coverage
- Full-time required
- Work week runs Sunday through Saturday
- Call required, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- EMR: Epic

**Clinical Details**
- Inpatient orthopedic service with ED and consult coverage
- Acts as primary orthopedic call for ED and inpatient units
- Participates in daily rounds and multidisciplinary care teams
- Performs and assists with a wide range of orthopedic procedures including:
- Joint and bursa aspirations
- Closed reduction of fractures and dislocations
- Injections (joints, tendons, trigger points, bursa)
- Wound closure, debridement, incision and drainage
- Tendon repair, percutaneous pinning, hardware and k-wire removal
- Digital blocks, regional anesthesia, brace/cast/splint application
- First assist in surgery including tissue closure and appliance application
- Utilizes EMR for documentation, order entry, and care coordination

**Requirements**
- Board Certified Physician Assistant
- Active Oregon license required
- Full-time availability required
- Meets criteria for Medical Staff or Allied Health Professional privileges
- NPDB self-query required at time of submission
- Clean background for credentialing
- Comfortable working independently in high-acuity and emergent settings

**Compensation**
- Rate cap: $100/hour
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel and lodging: Reimbursed per facility policy
- OT: Paid after 40 hours
