Mercy Health invites a Board-Certified Colorectal Surgeon to join our General Surgery team in Toledo, Ohio. This opportunity offers the chance to help shape and grow a colorectal subspecialty service within a collaborative, well-supported surgical environment.

Whether you are early in your career or bring years of experience, this role offers a meaningful blend of clinical practice, collaboration, and program development. You’ll work closely with surgical, oncology, and gastroenterology colleagues, supported by modern facilities and a strong infrastructure that allows you to focus on delivering thoughtful, patient-centered care.

The Role

  • Join a collegial General Surgery team with a strong multidisciplinary approach

  • Play an active role in the continued development of a colorectal surgery service line

  • Provide comprehensive colorectal surgical care to a diverse patient population

  • Participate in teaching and mentorship through the General Surgery Residency Program

  • Enjoy a Monday–Friday schedule with dedicated time for clinic, procedures, planning, and follow-up

Qualifications

  • Board-Certified General Surgeon

  • Fellowship training in Colorectal Surgery

  • Board Certification in Colon and Rectal Surgery preferred
