Locum CRNA – 4x10 M–Th in Huntingdon, PA | Cerner Site, Travel/Lodging + Malpractice Covered

We’re seeking a CRNA to provide locum tenens coverage in Huntingdon, PA. This is a clinical-only assignment covering both inpatient and outpatient cases, starting March 2, 2026, with an ongoing 6-month contract. Typical schedule is Monday–Thursday, 6:45 AM–5:00 PM (four 10-hour days).

What you’ll be working with

• Adult surgical patients, fewer than 20 cases/day.
• Case mix includes general surgery, orthopedics, ophthalmology, GYN, ENT, and plastics.
• Fully equipped anesthesia department using Cerner EMR.
• Anesthesiologist and anesthesia team available for support and collaboration.
• Facility has 71 hospital beds.

Credentials and experience we need

• Active PA nursing license.
• NBCRNA certification.
• BLS and ACLS current.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience (or 1 year of independent practice).
• Regional anesthesia experience (spinals, nerve blocks) preferred.

Privileges, timeline, and reason for coverage

• Hospital privileges required; temporary privileges are available.
• Temporary privileges can be granted in under 2 weeks; full privileges may take 60–90 days.
• Coverage is requested for supplemental staffing.

Compensation and logistics

• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are provided.

Primary responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for scheduled surgical cases Monday–Thursday.
• Collaborate closely with on‑site anesthesiologist and the anesthesia team.
• Manage perioperative anesthesia for adult patients across the listed case mix.
• Document care in Cerner EMR and maintain high-quality standards in a low-volume surgical environment.
