Join a COC‑accredited Cancer Center in Las Cruces, NM, providing both inpatient and outpatient hematology/oncology coverage on a locum tenens basis. This is supplemental clinical coverage with ongoing start dates available. Responsibilities include patient evaluation, rounding, supervision of APPs, and participation in minimal weekday and occasional weekend call (beeper; 24‑hour weekend call as needed). Weekly tumor boards and access to Phase II & III clinical trials; radiation oncology is on-site for specialty backup.

- Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Call: Minimal weekday call; 24‑hour weekend call as occasional coverage; beeper response within 20 minutes; call ratio 1:2
- Patient load: Up to 17 patients per shift; typically 2 phone consults and 1 admission per shift
- Rounding: Yes
- Supervision: Required to supervise APPs
- Support staff: 5 RNs, 1 MA, 1 PA/NP, dedicated pharmacists; radiation oncology on-site
- Facility: 18‑bed chemotherapy suite; Trauma Level IV
