RN Case Manager – Utilization Review (Travel Contract, Days, Bozeman MT, $2,984/40h)

We’re seeking an experienced RN to join a team in Bozeman, MT, on a contract/travel assignment starting ASAP. This role is daytime hours (7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.), Monday–Friday, and offers $2,984 per 40-hour week.

What you’ll be doing

• Conduct thorough assessments and create individualized care plans to meet each patient’s needs.
• Review treatment plans, hospital stays, and services to determine medical necessity and appropriate utilization.
• Work closely with providers, interdisciplinary teams, and insurance representatives to coordinate care and resolve issues.
• Educate patients and families about care plans, follow-up needs, and community resources.
• Maintain clear, timely documentation of care, reviews, and compliance with regulatory standards.

What we’re looking for

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Background in case management, utilization review, or clinical coordination is preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, excellent organizational abilities, and clear communication skills.
• BLS required; CCM or other specialty case management certification is a plus.
