Join a supportive hospice and palliative care team in Medford, OR (with Portland as backup) providing outpatient and telehealth coverage. This locum tenens role begins Feb 16, 2026 and continues on an ongoing basis to provide supplemental clinical coverage.
What the schedule looks like
- Clinical shifts: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- On-call: Nights, 5:00 p.m.–8:00 a.m.; beeper coverage for symptom management with a 15–20 minute response expectation.
Your day-to-day
- Complete admissions and recertification visits
- Prescribe medications as needed
- Collaborate with RNs, MSWs, and fellow APPs to address patient needs
- Chart in Epic
Team and support
- You’ll work alongside 4 other APPs plus RNs and medical social workers
- Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are provided
Requirements
- Active Oregon license and DEA; Washington license and DEA also required for telehealth coverage
- Board certified in relevant specialty
- BLS certification
