Travel RN – Emergency Room (Night Shift) | Newport, VT | Contract

Join a busy emergency department in Newport, VT as a contract Registered Nurse working nights. This role starts ASAP and is a 36-hour assignment with a pay rate of $2,434 per 36 hours.

What you’ll bring:

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• ER experience or an acute care background is preferred.
• Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and clear communication.
• BLS required; ACLS, PALS, or TNCC preferred.

What you’ll do day-to-day:

• Triage and assess patients as they arrive, prioritizing care based on acuity.
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions when needed.
• Continuously monitor patient conditions and promptly communicate changes to physicians and the care team.
• Keep clear, accurate documentation of care and patient records.
• Educate patients and families about treatments and follow-up plans.
• Contribute to quality improvement and safety efforts within the ER.
