Join a long-term care team in Hart, MI, on an 8-week contract beginning ASAP. This Licensed Practical Nurse role supports resident-centered care in a skilled nursing setting. Compensation: Travel rate $1,752/40 hrs; Local rate $1,684/40 hrs.
Requirements:
- Active LPN license valid in Michigan
- Minimum 1 year of long-term care or related experience preferred
- Current BLS certification
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care under RN or physician supervision
- Administer medications and basic treatments per residents’ care plans
- Assist with activities of daily living and personal hygiene
- Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes promptly
- Maintain accurate documentation of nursing interventions and outcomes
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support resident-centered plans
- Follow infection control procedures and safety protocols
