Travel Registered Nurse (RN) — Emergency Room (Rockford, IL)

Join a Rockford, IL healthcare team as a contract Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. This day-shift travel assignment begins ASAP and follows a 7:00 AM–7:30 PM schedule (36 hours) with compensation of $2,052/36-hours.

Core qualifications:

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Emergency department or acute care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, critical-thinking, and communication skills.
• BLS required; ACLS, PALS, and/or TNCC preferred.

Key responsibilities:

• Triage and rapidly assess patients on arrival to determine priority and needed interventions.
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency procedures safely and according to protocol.
• Continuously monitor patient status and promptly report significant changes to physicians and the care team.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient records.
• Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
• Participate in ER quality improvement and safety initiatives to support optimal patient outcomes.
