Travel RN – Endoscopy (Rockford, IL)

Join a contract travel team in Rockford, IL, providing endoscopy nursing care with a flexible schedule and an ASAP start. This role offers $2,182 per 36 hours and requires varied shifts. Ideal candidates have a background in endoscopy, perioperative, or procedural nursing and strong clinical and communication skills.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the practicing state
• Experience in endoscopy, perioperative, or procedural nursing preferred
• Proficient clinical assessment, patient education, and communication skills
• BLS required; ACLS preferred

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare patients and the endoscopy suite for procedures
• Monitor and document patient status and vital signs before, during, and after procedures
• Administer medications, sedation, and prescribed interventions safely
• Provide clear education to patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and post-procedure care
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
