RN ER/ICU Nights – $2,052/36H Travel Contract | Arcata, CA (7p–7:30a, ASAP)

We’re seeking an experienced RN to join a busy night team in Arcata, CA. This is a travel/contract position to start ASAP, working 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. shifts (nights). The pay rate is $2,052 per 36-hour week.

What we’re looking for

• Active RN license in good standing.
• At least 2 years’ ER and/or ICU experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS, TNCC, CCRN are a plus.
• Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and clear communication skills.
• Comfort working flexible nights in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do

• Quickly assess patients and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide emergency and critical care to unstable or high-acuity patients.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and life-support treatments as needed.
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and ventilator settings.
• Document accurately and promptly in the EMR.
• Work closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Respond to medical emergencies, including codes and trauma activations.
• Follow patient safety and infection control protocols at all times.
