Registered Nurse (RN) – Long Term Care, Night Shift (Parkersburg, WV)

Join a short-term contract as a Registered Nurse in Parkersburg, WV. This local (non-travel) assignment begins ASAP and runs for 9 weeks. Schedule: 06:45 PM–07:15 AM. Compensation: $1,451 per 36 hours.

Required credentials:

• Current, active Registered Nurse state license
• BLS certification

Core responsibilities:

• Assess patients, develop and implement individualized nursing plans, and document care and education in the medical record
• Administer medications and obtain specimens for laboratory testing
• Monitor patient status, provide interventions, and record progress and responses to treatment
• Assist with procedures and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment, enforce facility policies, and supervise patient conduct as appropriate
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

This role requires strong clinical judgment, clear documentation, and effective teamwork to ensure high-quality patient care.
