Join a multidisciplinary team in Coos Bay, OR as a Locum Tenens Orthopedic Surgery NP supporting both inpatient and outpatient care. This full-time clinical position (with call) begins Feb 16, 2026 and continues on an ongoing basis to provide supplemental coverage.
Schedule and Call
- Shift options: four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts
- Call: one night per week and every third weekend (nights and weekends)
Clinical Responsibilities
- Daily rounding and order entry
- Perform joint and bursa aspirations; closed reduction of fractures and dislocations
- Administer injections (intra-articular, tendon, trigger point, bursa)
- Apply braces, casts, and splints
- First assist in procedures; deep and superficial tissue closures
Facility Details and Logistics
- 172-bed hospital, Level III trauma center
- Electronic Medical Record: Epic
- Travel, lodging, and and malpractice insurance provided
Requirements
- Active Oregon license
- Board Certified
- NPDB report required
