Travel RN – Night MSU/PCU (7p-7a) – Newport, VT (36-hr Contract)

Join a Newport, VT medical-surgical/progressive care team on a contract travel assignment. This night-shift opportunity (7p–7a) begins ASAP and offers $2,308 per 36-hour week.

Qualifications

• Active RN license for practice in the state.
• Experience in medical-surgical, telemetry, or progressive care nursing preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred for PCU patient care.
• Strong clinical judgment, organizational ability, and clear communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform consistent assessments and monitor patient status and vital signs.
• Safely administer medications, treatments, and ordered interventions.
• Recognize and respond rapidly to clinical changes; escalate care appropriately.
• Provide patient- and family-centered education on care plans, treatments, and self-management.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
