Travel RN – Pre-op / PACU (Kentfield/Greenbrae, CA)

Join a surgical team in Kentfield, CA on a contract/travel basis starting ASAP. This Perioperative/PACU RN position offers days and evening shifts with a pay rate of $2,459 per 36-hour shift period.

Required qualifications:

• Active RN license in the practicing state
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Perioperative or PACU experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare and assess patients for surgery, including review of medical history and vital signs
• Monitor patients in the PACU, manage pain, and oversee recovery from anesthesia
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Accurately document patient care and maintain medical records
• Educate patients and families on preoperative and postoperative care
• Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies

This role requires a reliable, patient-centered nurse comfortable working in a dynamic perioperative setting.
