Locum Tenens Radiation Oncologist — Outpatient Georgetown, KY (May–Oct 2026)

We’re seeking a Radiation Oncology locum tenens physician to provide supplemental outpatient coverage in Georgetown, KY from May 28 to Oct 1, 2026. This is a clinical-only assignment, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., managing a typical daily patient volume of about 15 with inpatient admissions as needed.

You’ll work with a small team (1 RN and 4 office staff, 3 rad techs) and use Athena for documentation. Required hospital privileges are available, and temporary privileges can be arranged. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance will be covered.

Key clinical responsibilities and capabilities:

• External beam radiation therapy (EBRT) using a wide range of techniques: conventional/conformal therapy, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS, IORT, TBI, TSE, and hyper/fractionation schedules
• Treatment planning: conventional planning, MLC beam shaping, 3D CRT, IMRT, PET/CT or MRI fusion, and EPI

Basic requirements:

• Active Kentucky medical license
• Board certified or board eligible in Radiation Oncology (BC/BE)
• ACLS certification
