Join a 14-week contract in Lincolnton, NC, starting ASAP. Full-time schedule: Sun–Sat, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Rates: Travel $1,754/35 hrs; Local $1,726/35 hrs.
Requirements:
- Active, valid state license as a Speech‑Language Pathologist.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Diagnose communication and swallowing impairments using clinical assessment and diagnostic tools.
- Develop individualized, outcome-driven treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based therapy to address articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, and dysphagia.
- Recommend and support use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) when appropriate.
- Educate patients and families on strategies, exercises, and safe swallowing techniques.
- Monitor and document patient progress; revise plans of care as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Facilitate generalization of communication skills to daily, school, and work settings.
- Participate in professional development to stay current with best practices.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
