**Clinical Details**
- Inpatient behavioral health coverage
- Adult and geriatric patient population with approximately 60% adult and 40% geriatric
- Responsibilities include psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and care planning
- Required duties include prescribing controlled substances, pre-admission screening review and CMS documentation, weekly care plans, discharge summaries, and medication reconciliation
- One mid-level provider on the team with physician oversight
- Only one physician on call at a time with a total of four physicians rotating call

**Requirements**
- Board certified psychiatrist
- Active South Carolina medical license required
- Most recent NPDB self-query report dated within 30 days required at presentation
- BLS and ACLS preferred
- Fellowship training preferred
- Ability to supervise a nurse practitioner

**Compensation**
