- On-call: Yes, including weekends

**Clinical Details**
- Hospital radiology coverage including stroke CTs and acute care imaging
- Interventional radiology procedures including thoracentesis, paracentesis, nephrostomy tubes, abscess drainage, chest tubes, and suprapubic catheters
- Biopsies including thyroid, lung, and other percutaneous procedures
- Lumbar punctures, barium studies, and centesis procedures with drains
- Outpatient coverage may include contrasted CTs, MRIs, and breast biopsies
- Average workload includes approximately 50 studies per day and 4–6 procedures
- ED volume averages 85–90 patients daily with inpatient census around 50
- Support from diagnostic imaging nurses, technologists, and an external radiology group for overflow and after-hours reads

**Requirements**
- Board certified or board eligible radiologist
- Active California medical license required
- Residency or fellowship training required
- BLS and DEA required during credentialing
- California fluoroscopy permit required at submission
- Strong procedural skills and acute care imaging experience required
- NPDB self-query report dated within 30 days required at presentation
- Availability at time of name clear required
