Job Description
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Total Joints Surgeon to join an established orthopedic surgery program serving a rural community near Reno, Nevada. This unique opportunity offers full-scope orthopedic practice, a predictable schedule, and full travel support—without the need to relocate.
Highlights:
- Balanced mix of elective and acute orthopedic cases
- Predictable 10 shifts/month providing 24/7 ED orthopedic call coverage
- Shifts selected 120 days in advance
- Fly-in model – licensing and all travel covered
- Hospitalist-supported admissions
- Focus on growing elective volume (total joints, arthroscopy, hand, basic fracture care)
- Onsite clinic with protected OR time
- Established, collaborative surgical team

Requirements:
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Fellowship training or strong experience in Total Joint Replacement preferred

- Ability to manage both elective and acute orthopedic cases
- Willingness to participate in ED call coverage as part of the program model
- Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and commitment to patient-centered care
