Full-time
Seeking a Surgical Oncologist (Hepatobiliary Surgeon with an interest in esophageal cancer) to join their team in Charlotte, NC. Candidates should be fellowship trained in HPB Surgery or Complex General Surgical Oncology. Join a collaborative and dedicated team providing care in one of North Carolina’s most desirable regions.
* Established, comprehensive Integrated Network Cancer Program, located in beautiful Charlotte, North Carolina
* Team of 4 Providers currently: 1 physician & 3 APPs
* Our comprehensive cancer program is designed to promote disease sub-specialization and foster collaborative, multi-disciplined team-based care.
* The role offers the opportunity to participate in clinical research.
* Teaching opportunities available
* Engage in a weekly multi-disciplinary cancer conference to support patient-centered care
* Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support available in both the clinic and operating room
* Call responsibilities are shared among the physicians, with APPs covering some of first call.
* Board-certified or board-eligible in Surgery and Complex General Surgical Oncology

**Requirements**
- Applicants should have completed/be completing fellowship training in an ACGME accredited complex general surgical oncology program with esophageal cancer training. Robotic experience is preferred.
- Beyond technical and clinical skill, the ideal applicant should be mild mannered and adept as a team player.
- They should possess an excellent bedside manner to complement these qualities.
