**Assignment Details**
- Coverage type: Scheduled clinical hours plus call
- Start date: ASAP
- End date: Ongoing
- Schedule: Full time, work week Sunday–Saturday
- OT applies after 40 hours
- Practice setting: Inpatient, emergency department, and surgical services
- Admissions required: Yes
- Call coverage: Weekday, weekend, night, and 24-hour call rotation
- EMR: Epic

**Clinical Details**
- Orthopedic inpatient and emergency department coverage
- Daily rounding, care planning, documentation, and order entry
- Primary orthopedic call for ED and inpatient units
- Diagnostic studies including EMG, EKG, compartment pressures, X-ray, CT, MRI, and bone scans
- Procedures including digital blocks, regional anesthesia, wound closure, debridement, I&D, tendon repair, biopsies, pinning, hardware removal, casting, splinting, joint and bursa injections, aspirations, and fracture reductions
- First assist in surgery with tissue closure and appliance application
- Discharge summaries, histories and physicals, and multidisciplinary collaboration

**Requirements**
- Board certified nurse practitioner or physician assistant
- Active Oregon license required
- Full-time availability required
- Eligibility for medical staff or allied health privileges
- NPDB self-query required at submission
- CAQH login and password required at offer
- Ability to work independently in high-acuity and emergent situations
- Epic training required, four hours unpaid with test-out option

**Compensation**
