Gastroenterology Associates, Inc. in Hilo, Hawaii is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Gastroenterologist interested in a flexible practice opportunity in one of the most beautiful and welcoming communities in the country. This role is ideal for physicians exploring part-time, per diem, traveling, or full-time arrangements.

Whether you’re looking to supplement an existing practice, transition into island life, or explore Hawaii through short or long-term coverage, we’re open to structuring an arrangement that fits your needs.

About the Practice

Gastroenterology Associates, Inc. is the leading GI provider in the Hilo community, offering high-quality, patient-centered care supported by an experienced clinical team. The practice focuses on bread-and-butter general gastroenterology, with advanced procedures welcomed but not required.

You’ll practice in a collaborative, low-stress environment with strong operational support, allowing you to focus on patient care—whether you’re here for a few weeks at a time or something more permanent.

Position Highlights & Flexibility

• Practice Models: Open to Part-Time, Per Diem, Traveling Physicians, and Full-Time
• Compensation: Competitive and negotiable based on schedule and scope
  (Full-time range: $550,000–$700,000)
• Schedule: Flexible blocks or ongoing coverage available
• Travel: Travel expenses reimbursed for non-local physicians
• Clinical Scope: General GI, IP/OP; advanced procedures optional
• Team Support: Work alongside two experienced Nurse Practitioners

Full-Time Benefits (if applicable):

• Signing bonus starting at $25,000
• 30 days PTO plus holidays
• 5 paid CME days annually
