Locums Emergency Medicine Physician

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in North Adams, Massachusetts. This position offers flexible shift options in a moderate-to-high volume Emergency Department within a Level III Trauma Center.

 

Compensation:  $300 Per Hour

 

Facility Overview:

 

• Trauma Level: III
• Total Hospital Beds: 32
• Annual ED Volume: ~55,000 visits
• EMR: Meditech

 

Position Details:

 

• Shift Coverage Needed: Morning and night coverage
• Available Shifts:
• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM
• 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• On-Call Requirements: None
• Weekend Requirements: Yes

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Provide high-quality emergency care to a diverse patient population
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a full spectrum of emergency conditions
• Collaborate with on-site staff and specialty services as needed

 

Requirements:

 

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Active Massachusetts medical license
• ATLS certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications
