**Locums | Cardiovascular Surgery PA| Clinic + Call | Lansing, MI**
**Why This Role**
- Recent APP resignation creating immediate need
- Established cardiac and vascular surgery service
- Rounder role with no OR responsibilities
**Assignment Details**
- Start February 2026
- 4 day workweek with 10 hour shifts
- 1 in 4 weeks on call first call from home
- 1 weekend per month required
**Clinical Details**
- Inpatient rounding for cardiac and vascular surgery
- CVICU average 2–3 patients daily up to 8
- CVSU average 2–5 patients daily including discharges
- Vascular service 4–10 patients ICU and floor
- Weekend census 15–30 patients solo coverage
- Level I trauma center
- EMR Epic
**Requirements**
- Board Certified PA required
- Active Michigan license in hand
- BLS and ACLS required
- Experienced APP only no new grads
- Clean malpractice and license history preferred
- NPDB self query within 30 days
**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel: Reimbursed
