Position Overview

- Patient Volume: 26K annual ED volume Free-standing Emergency Room
- Specialties: Radiology services, including X-ray, CT and ultrasound
- Coverage Model: 24 Hours Physician Coverage - 12 hour shifts; 20 Hours APP Coverage - 10 hour shifts
- Number of Beds: 9 bed ED with 5 sub-waitings (4 recliners and 1 stretcher)
- EMR: Cerner
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current Texas Medical License and DEA
- Board Certification: Board Certified ABEM, ABFM, ABIM
- Badges: ATLS, ACLS, and PALS required.

About Doctors Hospital of Laredo Emergency Room Saunders: Doctors Hospital Emergency Room Saunders is a freestanding emergency department located in central Laredo near the city’s main roads. Featuring six exam rooms, three rapid medical exam spaces, this facility offers 24-hour medical care, diagnostic laboratory and radiology services, including X-ray, CT and ultrasound.
